The $40 fuel cell car

While we're still waiting for the real deal, sibling blog Luxist reports on a toy version now available for purchase.

The H-Racer, created by Horizon Fuel Cell Technology, is a remote-controlled toy racer that uses a fuel-cell in lieu of regular batteries. A solar-powered fueling station is available, creating the fuel after pouring water into it. The fueling station is optional though we can't see not purchasing it.

Details on the H-Racer's speed and range are not available. The entire setup costs less than $100. Information about the company and ordering details can be found at the link.
