What is HT-V1A?

Segway is working on something and inquiring blogs want to know.

Sibling blog Engadget posts that, except for the project's designation of HT-V1A (model 2014500001) and application for use of Bluetooth frequencies with the Federal Communications Commission (which it received), nothing else is known of the project. A quick read in the post's comments has readers guessing it is either wheels that rise, a wireless fob, or a move to China(!). Our guesses include a remote start system, wireless radio, or foot heaters for those cold winter mornings.
