LA Auto Show's environmental design challenge
There's a lot of hype leading up to this year's LA Auto Show. Not only are we up to 12 confirmations on world debuts, but for the first time it's being recognized by the OICA (Organisation Internationale des Constructeurs d'Automobiles). In all the glitz and glamor just don't forget about LA's proximity to the design studios of nearly every major automaker as well as the renowned Pasadena Art Center.
For the third consecutive year, LAAS is hosting a design challenge based on environmental sustainability. Among the entries will be a vehicle with fully recyclable body coverings, another that is pedal-powered and one that even implements algae-filled panels. This year's nine entries and entrants are...

The winner concept car "Moovie", Andre Costa, Portugal, 2005, is plagiarism of my awarded project 2002. The design contest would definitely highlight the show. Being part of this event is sure to be a one of a kind experience not just for car enthusiasts but for eco-friendly peeps as well.

Living in Los Angeles for 22 years I have been searching for someone that can help me create my own design car. I am currently employed as an auto mechanic, and love to design new ideas for cars. Having knowledge of a cars mechanical and electric system, I am proficient in auto repair and I feel I can make a difference in automotive design and technology.
