Going deeper into the Odyssey of alternative fuels
As Derrick wrote earlier, Odyssey Day (tomorrow) is a sort of coming out day for alternative fuel. Part of the day's events include the announcement of a study conducted by the National Alternative Fuels Training Consortium on consumers' knowledge and purchasing likelihood of alternative fueled vehicles. The Consortium is hosting the Odyssey Day kick-off event in Washington, D.C. with a fleet of alternative fuel vehicles (powered by hydrogen fuel cell, electric, hybrid-electric, biodiesel, ethanol, and natural gas) where it will announce the results. The Consortium will also issue a challenge outlining how they plan "to overcome consumers' perceived barriers to buying an alternative fuel or advanced technology vehicle."
