Dynetek signs letter of intent with Delphi for CNG Systems in Brazil

The Brazilian unit of Delphi Automotive Systems is teaming up with Dynetek Industries of Calgary, Canada to sell natural gas fuel systems in Brazil. Dynetek is a manufacturer of lightweight compressed hydrogen and natural gas storage tanks. The companies plan to start with an exclusive deal to distribute Dynetek's CNG tanks for Brazilian bus and passenger car applications.

The intent is to use Delphi's established distribution network with Dynetek's products. If the first phase is sucessful they will look at expanding into manufacturing locally in Brazil. Dynetek's tanks are made from seamless aluminum liners wrapped in carbon fiber. Dynetak already supplies their CNG systems to Nissan, Mitsubishi and other companies.
