Richard Branson promotes alternative fuel movement by driving a Saab 9-5 BioPower

Sir Richard Branson has taken delivery of a Saab 9-5 BioPower car. Known for his commitment to fight global warming, Branson says the use of biofuels should be expanded to many industries. Branson's Virgin transportation companies, including Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Trains, are going to reinvest profits into renewable energy, and Virgin Fuels is expected to be a beneficiary. The company was already into bioethanol production and researching other alternative fuels. As for his car, Branson wants the 9-5 to be given an exemption from London's Congestion Charge, which is a fee placed on vehicles entering busy streets.
