Redesigned Toyota Camry, including hybrid model, is Motor Trend's Car of the Year

Motor Trend says the redesigned Toyota Camry is innovative, has broad appeal and is "the one car rival automakers all wish they could build." So it's no surprise the Camry was named Motor Trend's 2007 Car of the Year. The honor goes to all variations of the Camry, including the hybrid. Twenty-six other vehicles were considered for the award, including the Saturn Aura (which has a hybrid version), Nissan Altima (which also has a hybrid version), Honda Fit and VW Rabbit. The Camry is the nation's best-selling car followed by the Toyota Corolla. Last year's winner was the Honda Civic.
