It must be nice... George Clooney gets paid to drive a lithium powered Smart through Italy
Hybrid Technologies has decided to buy a little positive press in the form of George Clooney. Mr. Clooney already has one electric car, can't he share? I'd like to drive through Italy in almost anything, how about a Vespa? Oh well, nevermind. The aforementioned trip is set to coincide with Hybrid Technologies' release of their lithium powered SMART car for the European market. The car was recently seen on Regis and Kelly, if you are interested in the video, click here. The car also has been covered on CNN, and if you would like to see that, click here. Lastly, if you just can't seem to get enough Clooney, click here.

Paying a celebrity who most already know leans to the Left isn't as smart as if they pulled a surprise and got someone from the Right to drive this type of car. Someone like Ted Nugent. Hell, get a pundit like Bill O'Reilly to drive this car and you'll get more people saying 'hey if he's willing to drive one of these, maybe it's not just hippies who want to drive efficient cars.'
More bang for your buck if the driver is a big surprise.

Does this really surprise anyone? Remember the drama gods receiving gift bags worth thousands at the oscars and complaining about having to pay taxes? Yet another among the plethora of exmaples of liberal hypocrisy. "Do as I say....not as I do"
Doesn't surprise #1, Jay actually has a brain.
This looks like a great car to get squashed in an accident. "In a Yugo....."
