Chicago Auto Show: Gallery of Zap's current vehicles
Don't think that I didn't drill the on-site ZAP representative for any information about the ZAP\Lotus APX collaboration, but, alas, he knew nothing. Is it just vapor-ware? The jury is still out on that one, hopefully more information will be coming in the next few months. Not all was lost, however, as I did come away with a gallery of high-quality images of ZAP's current production models. As you may know, they already have a series of three-wheeled vehicles for sale, including a four-door, a truck and a little Segway-like scooter. I took pictures of them and you can see them in all their electric-only glory here.

Well its a great vehicle hope it could help the maximum people but i think this vehicle would not be successful on the heavy traffic roads as it doesn't have a sufficient balance control..................

I was the on-site ZAP representative and I'm sorry to have missed you. I would have gladly answered your questions on the ZAP-X/Lotus project/relationship, but you didn't ask me.
The other representatives were from ZAP of Oak Forest who were focused on introducing the Xebra to Chicago and answering hundreds of questions an hour about those vehicles. The ZAP-X is not available today, therefore they chose to stay focused on promoting the Xebra which is the only 100% electric vehicle in production today that can travel above 25mph in the U.S.
