Larry Hagman (AKA J.R Ewing) goes from playing oilman to being real environmentalist

Larry Hagman is best known for portraying the ruthless oil baron J.R. Ewing on the hit television show "Dallas." The 75-year-old Hagman is now a leading environmental advocate, converting his house to solar power and driving a total of five hybrid vehicles. He recently made an appearance at the National Biodiesel Conference where the Houston Chronicle caught up with him. He said his learning about solar power prompted the interest in biofuels, and he calls on lawmakers to support alternative fuels.

He WAS shot, in his office by his sister-in-law Kristen. She later drowned in the swimming pool.

It was just a dream about him being shot I think.
The tourag might be an experimental model.
He will be always one of my favorite characters from prime time TV.
It is too bad that he still doesn't carry on with acting like William Shatner.
