Larry Hagman (AKA J.R Ewing) goes from playing oilman to being real environmentalist

Larry Hagman is best known for portraying the ruthless oil baron J.R. Ewing on the hit television show "Dallas." The 75-year-old Hagman is now a leading environmental advocate, converting his house to solar power and driving a total of five hybrid vehicles. He recently made an appearance at the National Biodiesel Conference where the Houston Chronicle caught up with him. He said his learning about solar power prompted the interest in biofuels, and he calls on lawmakers to support alternative fuels.
