Geneva Preview: Hyundai's i30 and HED 4 concept CUV

There's one real easy way to tell whether the car model you're looking at online is available in the U.S. or European market. If you see these words: "a choice of three gasoline and three diesel engines, combined with manual or automatic transmission," you can bet it's not American. That's the case with Hyundai's new i30, the first Hyundai to fall under the company's new vehicle nomenclature (more details on that on Tuesday). The i30 will be available throughout Europe this summer as a 5-door hatchback.
On another stand at the Hyundai booth will be the HED 4, a concept Crossover Utility Vehicle (CUV). The technologies explored with this concept are lightweight plastic composites in place of metal and glass. Hyundai worked on the HED 4 with GE Plastics. Full press release on these two vehicles is you know where.

Why can't the states get these cool FOUR DOOR small cars??!!? We get only the 2 door versions and it's frustrating to see all these Euro cars that why don't get here. Fingers crossed for the Mazda2.
