Cleanova EV system now being tested on Fiat Doblo

The Cleanova II system we talked about in December is now turning a Fiat Doblo 100 into a percent electric vehicle. It combines a TM4 electric motor with lithium-ion batteries, and the setup was shown at the recent Geneva Auto Show. The Cleanova II system has already been tested on the Renault Kangoo and adds about $10,000 to the cost of a vehicle. Edmunds' Inside Line reports that customers for the moment will be limited to businesses and municipalities.
