Senator wants EPA to issue new regulations on CO2 emissions

Boxer, who is chairwoman of the Senate Environment Committee also wants the Environmental Protection Agency to start creating new regulations limiting CO2 emissions from coal-burning power plants. EPA Administrator Stephen Johnson will be testifying before Boxer's committee on April 24 and she will definitely be putting pressure on him to explain why they are not restricting greenhouse gas emissions, urging him to take action quickly.
