Winnepeg to host PHEV conference this November

Up north of the border in Winnipeg, the Plug-in Highway Network is organizing a conference on plug-in hybrid electric vehicles this fall. The PHEV2007 conference takes place on November 1 and 2, 2007 and will try to bring to together researchers working on PHEV technology and issues and in particular establish a Canadian network of people working in the area. They will also examine current PHEV demonstration projects and examine what the government might do to support the technology.

If you're interested you can sign up at the site and the cost is $235 before July 1 and $325 after that date. Organizers have also put up a call for papers, on subjects like batteries, powertrain modeling, policy and legislation, ultra capacitors and more.
