GM Battery director Denise Gray on the Volt battery contracts
Denise Gray, who was named the Director, Hybrid Energy Storage Systems for General Motors a few months ago, has put up a post on the GM FastLane blog. She discusses the company's commitment to making E-Flex based vehicles a production reality. Although only two contracts were awarded based on the thirteen bids that were received, that doesn't necessarily mean that either of those will go into the production version. The door is still open to other technologies and more contracts will be awarded as the technology progresses.[Source: General Motors]
