Ford showing the Hydrogen ICE C-Max in Europe

The Focus FCV isn't the only hydrogen fueled Focus that Ford has built in the past few years. They also built a few with internal combustion engines running on hydrogen. Now Ford has also built a C-Max with the same hydrogen ICE for demonstration in Europe. The C-Max is a tall wagon based on the European market Focus and this one has a supercharged 2.3L four cylinder putting out 110hp. CAR magazine got a chance to drive it and although it wasn't as refined as the standard version, they felt it could make a good bridging technology particularly for fleets where centralized fueling can be used.
