Hot for Hollywood auction nets America Ferrera a Prius
At the Hot In Hollywood celeb charity auction event (benefits went to AIDS causes, not the celebs, just FYI), the star of Ugly Betty, America Ferrera, spent $35,000 for a Toyota Prius. Guess this proves that Hollywood is the kind of place where a Prius will sell for about $12,000 over list price and a Lexus GS450h will sell for $4,000 under.
