Frankfurt Preview: Ford to show concept version of Fiesta replacement

The new B-Class Ford Fiesta replacement is expected to be shown in concept form next month at the Frankfurt Motor Show, while the production version will bow next March in Geneva. Whether the Fiesta name will remain is still unknown, but the car will definitely share a platform with the latest Mazda2 and come to the US market for 2009. Unlike the current model, the new Fiesta will no longer share its platform with the smaller Ka. The new Ka will be built on the architecture of the new Fiat 500 instead, but it's unknown when that model will appear.
