Design blog picks top 5 sexiest sustainable sports cars

Inhabitat is a blog that focuses on design and innovation and they've decided to compile a list of their five sexiest sustainable sports cars. Traditionally sports cars have not been equated with green motoring, but in the past couple of years a lot of new entries have popped up, many strictly in concept form and others destined for production. Number five on Inhabitat's list is the ethanol fueled Saab Aero-X concept with position four being occupied by the super rare and expensive battery powered Venturi Fetish. Head over to Inhabitat to check out the top three.

An annoying list: A sports car can't really be "sustainable" unless it "exists".
All of the cars in this list are either pure concepts (i.e., never produced), available for sale/delivery in the future (Tesla), or so limited in production as to be unattainable.
At least the Tesla has promise to be produced in reasonable numbers, given its intended market.

They wrote about the Venturi Fetish that only 25 are being produced per year. I'm pretty sure that's incorrect. My understanding is that only 25 are being produced. Ever.

Tony -
Wikipedia confirms the Venturi Fetish total production figure of 25. Their page also states it's unclear if *any* cars have been shipped to customers yet, so even that figure might be overly optimistic.
