Frankfurt 2007: Details on all the green vehicles, with PICS and CO2 / MPG numbers

Man, what a show. We've written about 80 posts about the Frankfurt Motor Show so far, which goes to show that the organizer's theme of sustainability mobility was not just something thrown together at the last minute. The automakers brought the goods to this show, whether it was in concept or ready-for-production form. Thanks to today's insane hoopla surrounding the debuts, though, it was easy to get overwhelmed by the offerings. Heck, earlier today we were posting every 20 minutes or so. I hope many of you enjoyed hitting the refresh button for the latest details, but I know not all of you have that luxury. To meet everyone's needs, here's a recap of every singe car at the Frankfurt Motor Show that we've written about to date. To give you some comparisons, I'm including pictures of each car, along with mpg and CO2 emissions numbers where we know them, and links to individual posts where you can digest more information about these fine examples of sustainable mobility. Here are the vehicles included in this round-up:
- Volvo ReCharge
- Opel Flextreme Concept
- Volkswagen up!
- Toyota iQ
- BMW X6 hybrid
- Mercedes-Benz S-Class Hybrids
- Audi A4

Interesting: compare the Peugeot 308 Hybrid HDi (69 mpg and 90 g/km of CO2) to the Smart ForTwo micro hybrid (55 mpg; CO2 of 103g/km).
Which just confirms my belief that SMART is nothing but a sad marketing gimmick and there really is nothing special in terms of engineering above it.
Would love to see that Peugeot sold in the American market, on a positive note.

you can buy the Smart
you can not buy the Peugeot...
Peugeot said the hybrid diesel will had 6KEur to the not so cheap diesel car.
So you are comparing a 2007 11KEur Smart to hypothetical +2010 27KEur Peugeot.

don't hate on the smart until you try it!
It's so fun to drive, once you get in, y oull never want to get out.. has some get up and go too. handles great in the snow and turns heads everywhere you go, people are much more curteous on the road as well when they see you driving in this cute little car

Which ones, (if any) are real, and which are just concept or vaporware? It's really easy to make a very green car that is only a hollow shell and will never actually exist.
