Meet the iSlide, a Segway-like skateboard concept

No too long ago, we showed you a one-wheeled machine that used accelerometers and a gyroscope to interpret your body movements into motion. That DIY machine was operated on the same principles as the Segway. Here is another version of this concept, this one powered by a hydrogen fuel cell. Designed by Ofir Tal, a recent graduate of Israel's Hadasa College, the iSlide also houses lights at the front for travel at night. With a top-speed of 15 kilometers per hour, don't expect to get anywhere too quickly, but that doesn't really seem to be the point of this exercise anyway. The machine is made up of "Epoxy and fiberglass, polyurethane, magnesium and titanium and rubber inserts." The idea seems more akin to a much simpler and less expensive alternative transportation device than the Segway, but one which offers some cool technology to those who have moved past their skateboards. I'd like to give it a try. You?
