Glamor post of the week: BMW Hydrogen 7 is official limo for Rome Film Festival
Lights, camera, action! A small fleet of BMW 7-Series Hydrogen will be used by the Rome Film Festival organisation to move VIP guests to the red carpet.
It's obvious that BMW is investing a lot of money promoting its Hydrogen 7 with celebrities. I'm no celebrity, but I'll admit it: if it fit in my garage, I'd like to try one as well.

Just what we need. Why??? Well, since it's solar activity and water vapor in the atmosphere that causes 90% of the global climate, what we need are more cars emitting water vapor into the atmosphere?
Has anyone done a study of what will happen if, say, 70% of the vehicles on earth emit water vapor?
No??? I didn't think so, because then they'd have to admit that, currently, humans are not the cause of "climate change."

Water vapor can't accumulate in the atmosphere though.
Spends about 2 weeks in the troposphere and comes back down. Any excess condenses near instantly and comes back down.

Furthermore, we can know that increased solar radiation isn't causing the warming over the past 4 decades.
Since we've been directly measuring the solar radiation output of the sun with 3 sets of satellites for that whole time.

Why is it that all of a sudden the average person has become an expert in climate science, by reading a few articles on the web?
In other words the average person is educated enough to "prove" scientist wrong. You can only have an opinion if you have done extensive research, and published papers in journals of high credibility. The fact remains: The majority of climate scientists agree that they are more than 90% sure man is responsible.

It's definitely just a political development for the motoring industry at this stage. The infrastructure around the world just isn't ready for hydrogen yet. You pretty much can't refuel outside of California and Munich! But at least BMW are looking at alternatives if global warming does turn out to be the real deal.
The Hydrogen 7 makes an appearance on Hong Kong's old runway in the harbour.
