Hyundai's i-Blue fuel cells on track for 2012 use in crossover SUV

The i-Blue concept from Hyundai was on full display at the Frankfurt Motor Show earlier this year. Auto Express is now reporting that Hyundai the fuel cell technology in the i-Blue remains on track to see production in a crossover SUV in 2012 (we heard something similar a few weeks ago).
The Hyundai fuel cell design in the i-Blue uses a 100kW motor in the front wheels, powered by a fuel cell under the floor that's connected to a 115L fuel tank filled with hydrogen gas compressed at 10,000 psi.
Hyundai also said 2010 will bring us a hybrid version of the Elantra.

Will they be giving away a free hydrogen generator?

Hyundai is INFAMOUS for hybrid lies. Remember the Accent Hybrid?
Hyundai predicts a hybrid launch 3 years in advance and then, after generating (and capitalizing) on the hype, publishishes a delay announcement, pushing back the launch several years.
Cheap tactics from a cheap company.

Hyndai is planning to do just like the other auto makers - make a handful of H2 vehicles, and either lease them at extravagant rates (like Mazda) or lease them VIPs and celebrities for a promotional "We're green!" campaign like GM and Honda and BMW.
Both the H2 storage and H2 fuel cells are extravagantly expensive, either one alone would price it out of the market, together it is absurd. H2 cars will never be reasonably priced.
Of course, by 2012 there will be so many affordable "plug-in" cars that expensive H2 cars won't stand a chance.
