Venture Vehicles shows new design proposals

The team at Venture Vehicles is still hard at work on their proposed three-wheeled, tandem seat EV. Although the layout of the vehicle seems to be fixed, the final design of the bodywork is still a work in progress. The company has posted renderings of the the two latest candidates on the forum at their web-site. The company will now proceed to make full-scale of these two final designs before making a decision on which will get built. They hope to have most of the major components sourced and a name chosen by the beginning of the new year.

I am a Venture fan and could see buying one, but I vastly prefer the original concept drawings: at http://flytheroad.com/
The new design loses the enclosed mechanicals that made the front look so cool.
The side windows are ridiculously small. WTF? This is a deal breaker even it is fixed somewhat. It is completely the wrong direction. The main reason I want this vehicle is the motorcycle experience, I want maximum visibility. Not little portals to look out of. Visibility should be unrestricted.

I'm assuming the new semi-detached nose (which is not as pretty as the original renders) is a concession to either cost or mechanical necessity.

This thing is taking too long to come to market considering it's supposed to just be a reskin of a preexisting vehicle. It's being designed to death. Not a good sign.

ug, I don't remember the Carver One being a plug-in hybrid or all-electric vehicle. The tilting chassis is licensed from Carver, but the feature set of the Venture necessitates entirely new detail design and some serious engineering.
And if it's not attractive, no one's going to buy it. I'd much rather they spend a little bit of extra time on the front end making an outstanding vehicle that really piques consumer interest than to get a half-baked ultra-niche vehicle on the market now so that wealthy early-adopter environmentalists can have a new toy.

I think I prefer the "Concept C" images. Not as sleek as the first draft, but not as busy as "Concept D."

So they've copied the Phairo bodied carver from 2005.
Nothing original here at all, styling wise.
Wonder if they made a deal with Phairo - or if they are just going to steal the design

I would love to own one I live in the mountains and think it would be a great vehicle to drive around in. If I had the money I would invest into it and try to open up a dealership. People are going to go crazy over it especially with the price of gas now days.

How about a removable top for the wind in your face experience? also, design with easily removed components and a diagnostic computer.
