Michael Jackson goes green(ish), takes a Prius limo
TMZ has a short, blurry video of pop star Michael Jackson driving off in a Prius limo. Jacko stepped into the back seat of the regular Prius after shopping at Sharper Image in Beverly Hills Friday. In the last few days, we have written about great firsts like a city fleet that runs biodiesel and a corporation adding hybrids to its trucking fleet. Something tells me this Michael Jackson story has a better chance of getting coverage than those two real stories from the popular media and that's really too bad.

That was definitely not a Pruis Limo....it was a normal Prius. You may have been misled by the first sentence of the short article "goodbye limos, hello Prius."

Andrew, We have probably seen an extended Prius or two but the average Joe probably just recognizes the shape. I do say in the article regular Prius but I don't think it's wrong to call a regular Prius used as a limo, a Prius limo.

What's funny is that at the very end of the video the umbrella never quite makes it all the way in the car. The body guard shuts the door on the tip of the umbrella in his rush to avoid the press.
