Are the cars on this Top Ten really the ones that turn men's heads?

Well, Evecars certainly be accused of thinking green with their latest Top Ten list, which they think marks the "Ten sexiest cars to turn men's heads." Following a poll of "a cross-section of men," the website thinks that a woman driving a Mercedes-Benz SL Roadster (pictured) would be the sexiest. Of the entire batch of ten cars (see it after the jump), only the Fiat 500 could qualify as a green car, and Evecars doesn't specify if it's the old or new version of the 500 (I'm guessing it's the old one).
So, what (apparently) do men care about when it comes to women and cars and sex? It's not the CO2 emissions level. In a statement (also available after the jump, Evecars editor Alex Jenner-Fust said that, "The men we polled love the idea of a woman at the wheel of a high performance car, but only if she knows how to handle it. That's why the idea of a Land Rover Defender driven by the Queen is far more appealing than a modern Mercedes convertible being driven, or crashed, by the likes of Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears." Sigh.
We've been through this discussion before, and I guess men need to reshape our thoughts in the same way women should if anyone is going to attract a mate in a car when the ocean levels rise. And here I thought going green was so sexy? When, exactly is that going to happen again?

Ten sexiest cars to turn men's heads
Women hoping to attract male attention should get behind the wheel of a classic convertible, and be able to drive it well, according to a survey from evecars.com.
The women's car website polled a cross-section of men to discover which cars they'd be most impressed to see a woman driving. The winner was the Mercedes-Benz SL Roadster, a classic model built from 1955 to 1963, and made famous by Grace Kelly who drove the car in the film High Society.
'The vintage Mercedes SL Roadster is undeniably a beautiful car, which oozes style and class. Buying one isn't cheap, but proves the owner appreciates the finer things in life,' says Alex Jenner-Fust, editor of evecars.com.
Although most of the favourites are performance cars, including the Porsche 911, Mitsubishi Evo and Subaru Impreza - the Queen's favourite vehicle the Land Rover Defender also scored highly in the top ten.

'That's why the idea of a Land Rover Defender driven by the Queen is far more appealing than a modern Mercedes convertible being driven, or crashed, by the likes of Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears. '
Martin Schlaeppi who races in the Radical Enduro series, voted for the Evo. 'It's a car for people who love driving and it takes effort and concentration to drive well,' he said. 'Evo drivers know about their cars and that's why it's sexy to see a woman behind the wheel.'
Evecars.com also asked women from the motoring industry which cars they felt most fabulous driving. Two-seater convertibles scored strongly, from the luxurious Jaguar XKR to the stripped out Caterham, as did performance cars like the Porsche 911 and Mitsubishi Evo.

I know it's not *exactly green but there's something sexy about a petite women driving a muddy, jacked-up pick up sittin' on 44's. If the truck were electric I guess that'd be icing on the cake.
All apologies.

I agree with number 1 and 10. The rest are questionable.
Its gotta be a convertible, stickshift sportscar.
Like Kelly McGuiness driving a Porsche 356 in Top Gun or Debra Unger driving a Miata in Crash (1996).

I guess the only car that I would consider on this list is the 911. I want a car that flat out hauls and is a manual shift. I can't see driving an automatic. Give me any 60's american muscle car. Or any 60's v12 ferrari, or a car that you have to pay attention to drive and the car is the entertainment system. Even a nice 390 AMX 2 seater. Piss on these computer controlled cars. Happy New Year

#10 the Caterham can get over 30 mpg and get to 60 in less than 6 seconds depending on the engine fitted to it. But I've never seen or even heard of a woman owning one or driving one.
