Next stop, honeymoon: $40 bus bet leads to marriage

How romantic can a bus ride be? While sometimes it's best to keep men and women separated on public transportation, Amanda Hodson and Brendan Miles are glad their bus was not gender specific. The two were riding a bus in Calgary about five years ago when this story began. Actually, Amanda was riding the bus with her friends, who bet her $40 to kiss the next person to board the bus. She did. The target was Brendan, and the first kiss led to a first date, to a realization they had a lot in common and, finally, to a wedding this past weekend. Where did they get their official wedding pictures taken? In a bus, naturally. Something to consider when you're waiting for your next ride.
