Running-powered jumpbike tricycle thing - looks fun and dorky

You remember the whole debate about whether, for short-distance trips, driving or walking is better for the environment? I want those calculations reconfigured with one of these three-wheeled running bikes factored in. A Designboom reader submitted this new idea for human-powered transportation. There's a video below that shows the machine in action, but the idea is that you hop on the seat, run and - when you're going as fast as you'd like to, just place your feet on the bars and coast for a while. I guarantee you that everyone who rides one of these says, "Wheeeeee!" the first time. I know I would. This is certainly the most unique get-around machine I've seen in a long while, and it's totally emission-free.

If I could, I'd make the video after the jump required viewing for anyone who thought the Segway was the the least dignified way to get around. Too funny. Still, I want to give this a try. Thanks to Melina for the tip!
