Tesla Motors reps have been
hanging out in Europe this week giving test rides in the Roadster and trying drum up sales. The
specs of the European car have now turned up online on the site of a
Finnish Norwegian specialty car importer who is offering the Roadster. The motor is now listed as 300+hp with a 13,000rpm red-line as compared to the original rating of 248hp. The transmission is also listed as a single speed unit, so these are likely based on the so-called drivetrain 1.5 which will be the installed into all the cars starting later year. The upgraded drivetrain features an upgraded power electronics module and enhanced motor cooling allowing it produce more power and torque. The upgrades allow the Roadster to match the performance specs of the original two-speed configuration.

This Ferdinand Motor AS is surely not a Finnish company.. The website is in Norwegian and the addresses are in Norway, so it looks more like a Norwegian company.

I can't believe this car has 300HP, I'd be surprised it if has 248HP.

LS2LS7, the current roadster definitely has the 248hp. I've driven it with low gear locked out and the acceleration in second gear definitely corresponds to these power levels.

Since it was me that posted the linked to post at Tesla Motors I can testify that Finn.no is a Norwegian certified ads page (for cars, jobs, real estate etc., "finn" translates to "find").
As to why the Europeans gets the better car, I guess this is the drivetrain 1.5 specs that we see for the first time :)

Once again, more PR about the vapor car. So Tesla, when are you going to actually deliver production-final cars to real live customers?
