Rent a car in Europe, get some free gas

Although auto manufacturers in Europe are not all that excited about the prospect of giving away free or low-cost fuel as an enticement to purchase their vehicles, at least one rental car company has decided to give it a go. Auto Europe will be giving customers a free gas card worth $30, which isn't likely to go all that far these days, especially with European fuel prices.
Of course, there are stipulations involved. For instance, you must make your reservation before July 4th, 2008 for pick-ups through July 31. Additionally, not every country in Europe will apply. Austria, Croatia, France, Germany, Italy and Portugal are the only choices. What's more, a five-day reservation is required. Lastly, the offer is only valid for North American residents. While we don't recommend turning down the offer for thirty-bucks of free fuel, Auto Europe sure has added lots of fine print for this deal. There are easier ways to save money on fuel, after all.
