Donald Trump to give away hundreds of electric Smart cars
Gajillionaire Donald Trump wants to spend £1 billion ($2,005,048,751.80) building the world's largest golf resort. It would feature two golf courses along with a 5-star hotel on 1,400 acres of "spectacular sand dunes" at Balmedie Beach in northeast Scotland. Not surprisingly, there is some amount of environmental criticism of the plan. To silence the critics, "The Donald" is planning on supplying each of the 500 planned properties, and possibly some for the 950 other holiday homes intended for the area, with their very own Smart ed.
If you're worried that Mr. Trump is just using some electric cars to greenwash his project, don't. His assistant in Scotland, George Sorial, assures, "We aim to protect and enhance the environment in everything we do." While it seems likely the development will eventually happen, we suggest the local inhabitants "see" his electric car and "raise" him a wind and solar farm. OOOOhhh, pick me! I want one!
And a solar powered charger to top it off, Or, a 200 foot tall wind generator! yeah, my neighbors would love that. Everybody knows, or should know, that power companies still use coal/hydro/natural gas/atomic/oil to generate the electricity we need to run these little jokes. I won't be able to travel more than 30 miles without re-charging, carry my wife, three teenage daughters, and a weeks worth of groceries in it. Go to Costco? I'll stick to my 1/2 ton pick-up so I can tow my camp trailor when I go hunting for deer.

Mr. Trumph,
I found out that after this man died who I will call"SHAMUS" I found out that he was not my "Father after 56 yrs "and me disabled by the way.
He left to my so call sister over $175, thousand dollars and she knows that I have Neuropathy Pain thru out my body and since this man died, only left me $1,000 dollars out of his 7.5 million dollars.
His actions towards me growing up was brutal with beatings and punches all over my body and I failed gym because of all of the "Black and Blues all over my entire body".
I am now 56 yrs old and he has been deceased since 3/04/06.
He remarried a woman who at the time in 1983 was 32 yrs old and they moved to West Palm Beach and hid from the people from New Jersey since he worked for the Penn Central Railroad, you can imagine what benefits he had as an engineer, brakeman and transportation clerk, ect.
He knew when the box cars were coming in with Cigarettes, t.v.'s ect.
He was a Thief and so I do believe he is in a place with his name already in place before he was born.
Since my wife who has Lupus/Vasculitus and the list goes on, we would trully appreciate it if you would send us an electric car.
We would use it well and use your name in the highest quality that the car was made by you, Sir.
Please think about this.
I lived in Bergen County for 30 yrs before moving to the 4 corners where I became a small business owner, but trusting people with my money which was a Bad Mistake, I Lost all my money and I should be living in a 250, thousand dollar home at this age.
Please consider my wife and I as a canidate for one of your vehicles/truck.

Solar, wind and passive and active solar developement in the design of any building.
The water powered car kits are a scam. Local TV station checked them out..

With the billions trump has you would think he could come up with some real AID to the COUNTRY that allowed him thru his perserverance to obtain all that he has-giving cars away is fine-how about helping pregnent wowmen w/shelters and wasy to education so as to not to have to KILL BABIES which is a major pock on this country- THERE WILL BE NO PEACE TILL THIS ABOMINATION STOPS_and TRUMP has the cash to help it stop-WONDER how he would feel if lets say BARON WAS ABORTED UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!

Electric cars are all the rage now and from what I have seen will go approximately 60 miles on a single charge. They obviously do not polute and can be recharged overnight. A question I have and have never seen it answered is "What's the cost of the recharge?" Are we really saving using electric cars or do they actually cost more to use. I have a Honda Civic and get 35 MPG.

So, since an article hasn't fallen in to your lap about Donald Trump's philanthropic work, you people don't think he does any? As for homeless shelters-Trump is very involved with them--for puppies and kitties at least. He is VERY supportive (both financially and influentially), in charities for Cancer, Parkinsons, children with a multitude of ailments, and many other fine causes. I am pretty socially liberal, but the poster 'forreginaourlady' shows me why people with money can end up being averse to giving. Think of all the nut cases, spewing their slanted rhetoric from every side, well-known people like Donald Trump, must deal with on a daily basis. Most of us would seculde ourselves in our mansion and not spend our time or money on any of the wonderful causes Trump has helped.
On a personal note, I grew up in and out of the hospital due to a congenital birth defect. When I was 12, I had to miss much of the school year for major surgery, and spent most of that september in the hospial. I had become an admirer of Mr. Trump at that time, as I had read, and was quite impressed with, his book , 'The Art of the Deal'. I also had thought it 'cool' that my father and Mr. Trump had attended High School together. In any case, my aunt placed one simple call to the Trump offices telling of my story. I was elated to recieve an autographed picture of Mr. Trump with line 'Keep fighting--you'll win!!' along with a very adorable 'Get Well Soon' card which he had autographed. While I know that these things may not seem like much, but it made a 12 year old faced with a really crappy situation pretty damn happy. (The next week I recieved a package with 25 indiviual pictures of every New York Yankee, autographed, with a team picture enclosed....best damn surgery I EVER had!!!!!!).
I guess my point is that just because you don't know about someone's charity or personal activities, don't assume that they are non-existant. Much of the time, the 'celebrities' (god, I HATE that word) that you read about and see on TV giving to charity, are really attention whoring people of little socially redeeming character. The people who usually do the most for those less fortunate, are often the ones we don't hear about, because that is the way THEY like it. Please don't hold modesty against someone you don't know. I won't purport to know Mr. Trump personally, but from all I know of him, he is a good human being. That is my two cents about that!
Lastly, did anyone actually READ the article? You people do realize that the E-cars are going to the properties for use on and by the properties. Its not like some random gold ticket give away, and a certain number of lucky people will be flown to Mara-lago to be given a brand new E-car by Donal Trump himself. Geez, read the article before you go on a web site message board and beg a man who will never read your post for one of the cars he isn't giving away....... and to all, a goodnight!
