Paris Preview: Audi A1 Sportback hybrid concept leaks out

The leakage leading up to the Paris Motor Show continues as the first pics of the new Audi A1 Sportback have surfaced. The A1 Sportback is likely what the production version of Audi's new small car will look like when it hits the streets in 2010. The A1 is about a foot shorter than the Golf-based A3 and if this concept is any indication, it may turn out to be Audi's first hybrid. The concept uses a 150 hp version of the VW 1.4L TSI engine paired with a 27 hp hybrid system. This appears to be a new mild hybrid system that we haven't seen before from the VW group. Power transfer to the wheels is handled by dual clutch S-Tronic transmission (known as a DSG at VW). Fuel economy is said to be 60.3 mpg (U.S.) with CO2 emissions of just 92 g/km. Stay tuned for more details later today.

I will be left with nothing to buy if it continue like that... Only hybrids or pure battery cars are annonced to come to the market in the coming years. All that while hydrogen prototypes cars are running almost just as prototypes and are not annonced to enter the market in canada before 2030 or later...There is not a single hydrogen station in montreal canada nor a natural gas station nor some tuner or mechanical shops that sell and install natural gas conversion kits, while gas retail here at 4.50$/gallon. We live in a desert world leaded by blinded politicians and associated imcompetants( journalist-teachers-bloggers-manufacturers-businessmans-voters-scientists-religions-tv watchers-workers-drivers-big oil).
Each and all of my solutions have been rejected: green algae fuels and hydrogen and natural gas.
Each and all of my nightmare solutions are raging-on or are coming soon: Corn ethanol, high gas price, war on irak, heavy pollution by petrol on extraction, refining and use by consumers,
battery car that don't even work good in summer and here is winter 6 months a year, hybrids that are limp and cost 15000$ more then a more powerful car.
I'll keep my dodge neon 2005 up to 2030.

gorr, seriously?
At least check your spelling before calling people the "imcompetants". Grammar as well. "... don't even work good"? How about, "... doesn't even work well?"
Iraq. Not Irak.
I'd like to see the research for most of your claims as well, if possible. Maybe after each tirade, post a small little bibliography?

Coming to America?
Battery pack size?
Does it have a plug?
Does it have silent - no motor operation? I'm guessing not because its a "mild" hybrid.

C.J, my native language is french and im here in this chat-site mainly to practice my english and as a side im trying to make appear my future car in a showroom near my town.
Im really dissapointed of what have been offer to me since i started negociating with the internationnal common sence that is now made here in autobloggreen site. One phenomena that no one noticed is that big car compagny men like enginneers and administrators and owners and marketing guys are taking their inspiration in chat-site like this one. They want opinions and ideas that are natural and their survey are not working so at night
when they are alone they take a break from corporate emptyness and frustations and often find one of my idea. I never expected so much trouble with my written ideas abouth car of the futur. Billions have been invested in vains by manufacturers and billions have been invested by goverments, big oil and secrets services to try to impede any change to statu-quo. So we are almost destroyed the one like me that want to buy in a dealership a car that run on water.
