In this global financial melt down, one cannot afford to waste fuel, and also as transport is very important in day today life, people cannot compromise on fuel and waste it, This is where the Hybrid Technology comes in, Hybrid vehicles are the future that is what is see. All the major auto giants are now focusing on manufacturing energy efficient vehicles, which will run on low fossil fuel and also that will help in reducing the CO2 in atmosphere and eventually will control the Ozone depletion. And on the hand electric vehicles are also coming in market which will produce Zero emission. what i would suggest is that people should do some sacrifice and encourage the Hybrid models for the betterment of all :)

How would one invest in a company like BYD? I can't find any brokers who deal in Hong Kong stock.

I was in Beijing during the olympics, and saw a plethora of cars with "borrowed" logos and styling. they're not fake, because they usually have different emblems for the makes on the cars, but are VERY close to cars by makes outside of China.
