VIDEO: Toyota shows a new method of double parking with the iQ

One of the potential advantages of small vehicles like the Smart ForTwo is the ability to park them in places where other cars don't fit. We've seen photos of Smarts in parked perpendicular to the car in European cities. The most direct challenger yet to the ForTwo is the new Toyota iQ and it will be going on sale in Japan in the coming weeks, followed quickly in Europe. Toyota has a Japanese ad for the iQ that demonstrates a novel method of double parking the diminutive commuter even in small car-dominated Japan. Check out the ad after the jump.
