Peugeot updates its smallest car, the 107, with big-mouth Billy Bass look

The Peugeot 107 has always had a bit of a big mouth look, something that is even more pronounced for 2009 thanks to a design refresh. Most of the visual changes are forward of the firewall and the nose now looks more distinct from its Citroën C1 sibling (also a mouth-breather). At 11.25 ft long the 107 remains one of the smallest cars on the road. As would be expected from such a small car, the 107 gets great fuel efficiency, with the 1.2L diesel getting a combined rating of 57.4 mpg (U.S.) while the 1.0L gas engine manages 52.3 mpg with a manual gearbox or 51.1 mpg with an automatic. Peugeot has improved the refinement with extra sound insulation. Unlike the smaller Smart ForTwo, the Peugeot nominally seats four, although the second row will definitely be a tight squeeze.
