It's time for SEAT to launch the Ecomotive version of the latest Ibiza. The green Ibiza has been on sale since January in Spain and will soon make it to the rest of the European markets. The engine - VW's 1.4-liter TDI rated at 80hp - is carried over from the previous version, but fuel consumption (3.7 l/100 km (63 mpg US) and CO2 emissions (98 g/km) are a timid improvement from the previous generation. Those vehicles were rated at 99 g/km. The new Ibiza is a bit larger than the previous model and it's packed with all kinds of safety features as well as A/C. Prices start at €14,816 in Spain.
