Could discovery of space aliens lead to doubling your Zero X range?

Imagine this. You are on your Zero X electric motorcycle enjoying a brisk ride along your favorite wooded trail. You reach a clearing and in the morning mist you are surprised to find a family of space aliens enjoying a quiet picnic in front of their parked UFO. Not wanting to learn the hard way whether these are the harmless variety or the type to have lots of "probing" questions, you whip your bike around and hit the throttle. Hard. Your front wheel leaves the ground as you silently exit the scene, stage left, and head for the closest population center. As the scenery whizzes by and you become confident that your getaway was cleanly made, a smile crosses your face because you realize that your helmet cam was on the whole time and you now have footage worthy of snagging a free lithium battery from Zero Motorcycles.
How is any of that even possible? Well, Zero Motorcycles is giving a free helmet video cam to the next 100 people who place an order for a 2009 Zero X and type in promotion code hvcamera. This could come in handy because they will soon be announcing a contest for videos that help them "tell their story." The best entries will also have a chance to win an extra battery (worth $2,950!). Of course, you might not need to encounter any space aliens to win but if you do, make sure your camera is switched on.

This is a genius plan. They're pushing to get some good video examples of how sweet it is to be able to coast through a trail in nature without scaring off all the living things within a half-mile radius. People underestimate how big a deal that is. I've done a lot of work on an electric snowmobile, and the biggest shocker for everyone is how quiet it is. People used to riding on machines with engines are just blown away by the notion of moving just as quickly but without all the racket. It's also a lot nicer for whoever's riding behind you.

Fat chance! Every time I find space aliens enjoying a quiet picnic in front of their parked UFO, the aliens take my blasted camera away. Then I go report it to the authorities and they put me back into the padded cell.

I live in Spain, anyone know if the Zero can be ridden here in places where "normal" dirt bikes are prohibited? I'm quite certain that I can get some alien videos here if only I could get to their landing sites in the Sierra Nevada (the Spanish Sierra Nevadas in Granada).

We are reps for Zero Motorcycles in Colorado. We've had an X since June. I can tell you there are multiple times I've stumbled upon an unsuspecting elk, deer, whatever. A helmet cam definitely would've been handy.
If anyone in the Colorado area is looking for a demo ride, visit www.muev.com and drop us a line. We'll have our '09 model next month.
