Where's the sled? Pics of Santa's GEM electric car

Click above for a gallery of Santa and his GEM

Twas the night or two before Christmas, and Santa was most certainly not at the North Pole. Instead, he was at the Boys & Girls Club of the West Valley in Los Angeles giving out toys and promoting a greener Christmas. He was cruising around in a GEM electric vehicle. As you can see from the pictures, the electric drive GEM seemed to perform quite well all decked out in holiday cheer. Under all those ribbons and bows, though, this vehicle looks suspiciously similar to the one that we found at the LA Auto Show recently. Note the fireball hiding under the holiday icons.

In somewhat related news, we also heard about the Tango snowplow and the emergency Prius operation. Does anyone else have a holiday/winter green car story to share?
