Pics a plenty: Aptera 2e caught with no pants on

We've been waiting
Besides taking pictures, the fan (known as "apt2123h" on ApteraForum) got to ask a few questions and it seems our suspicions about a gas-only model have now been confirmed. As well, they were told that, "The first vehicles should be to the first people on the waiting list by October." Lots of other questions are answered by the pics in the gallery below.

Yes, fwd. Steve Fambro said they made the switch about a year ago from rear wheel to front wheel drive. I am waiting for my chance to drive one of these beauties.

They don't open in this pre-production vehicle. We are assured that they will in the vehicle that customers buy.

Umm I don't know how I feel about this car. When I first heard about it it was gonna be rear wheel drive, the whole idea of using cameras for the rear and side view mirrors was awesome and the whole design of it was too cool.
Now it's front wheel drive with mirrors instead of cameras and.... I don't know the luster is kinda gone. Also, can I just say one thing, those tires look like they would be an absolute pain in the behind to replace if you get a flat.
It's still cool, but when it first was shown and I read the price I said to myself, when I get out of college that's gonna be my car. Now.... I'm not so sure.

If you get one of these cars after college, kiss your sex like goodbye.

Looking good, get something into production to make money.

I'm not quite sure I get it now. If they're able to produce them, why can't they produce them?
What exactly is stopping a "pre-production" model from being an actual production model?

Side view mirrors are a deal breaker for me. I love this jetsons-mobile, but the all video rear-view was the coolest feature. Hope they stick to their guns or i'm out.

The side mirrors are required by law in many states.
