Renault adds eco2 branding to low-end Dacia lineup

Following in the path formed by just about every other European automaker, Renault is expanding its eco2 branding to its low-end Dacia brand. The eco2 branding refers to special low-CO2 emissions variants. In this case, Dacia will offer special versions of the Sandero and Logan. Both models will be available with an LPG-fueled 1.4L engine and the Logan will also be offered with a 1.6L LPG engine. The Logan and Sandero can also be optioned with a 1.2L gas engine that gets 40 mpg (U.S.) and 139 g/km of CO2 emissions. Sandero buyers can also go for a flex-fuel E85 capable 1.6L engine. Finally, 70 or 85 hp diesel engines are also available.
