The Tri-Hybrid Stealth (above) and Tri-Hybrid (below the jump) are on display at the Washington Auto Show in of the Green Car Pavilion. Not exactly cars, but certainly very green, the Tri-Hybrid is part recumbent bicycle, part covered trikes and part hybrids. A tribrid, actually, since it can operate on battery, leg, or motor power (not all of the time, though). The wicked-looking Tri-Hybrid Stealth had its official unveiling at the show. The seats two, should get 150 mpge, has "full safety features" and its designers are confident it can do well in the Auto X Prize.
These vehicles, and many more, are available from ExerTrike, the company behind the bike/boat combo the Pedal Paddle. C'mon, guys, let's get all of these technologies into one vehicle already.

I'm sure someone will like it, but to me it just seems like a few hard angles, a coat of black paint and the word stealth have turned into a design placebo...

I was at the DC auto show and could not believe how amazing these vehicles were! I meen its not like they looked like a brand new car you would buy off of the show room floor but the tecnology was impressive! And I got to talk to the inventor and they have done all of this out of there own pocket! They dont have billions to make there cars look perfect but they have gotten 320 mpg!! And proved it on the dicovery channel!!! Just imagin what they could do with just 1% of what the gov is throwing away at these huge companies to blow on a high speed super car that no one can afford and only has a range of 40 miles! Not to mention uses more electricity than a small car uses gas if u use the MPGE formula that the X prize uses!! I hope these guys get included in the stimulis!! Cuz I think that they could actualy make a difference with what they are doing!! And it dosent cost 100 grand! The small ones he said were only 2500! And the stealth was only going to be 10,000!!! Now that what im talking about!! Real salutions for a real world problem!! Keep up the good work guys!! And hopefully the rest of the world starts seeing what you can be with a little help too!! I cant wait to see what this car looks like by next year!!
