Paris launches online map of EV charging stations

You might expect a city's future (or current) EV charging network to be quite dense. I think it's also reasonable to expect charging stations to be easy to find. Paris now makes this a reality. If you look at the map above, which can be found on the City Hall's official webpage, you can see that Paris EV network is ready and quite dense. The surrounding suburbs (banlieue) also have charging stations. All of these stations are intended for EV cars. There are also 32 stations ready for riders of electric bikes to plug in. The City of Lights even remembers the needs of electric vans, with four stations designed just for them. Merci to Dominique for the tip.

There is a predominance of evidence that EVs are coming, and coming
very quickly to urban environments. I could be wrong, but it seems
EVs are going to skip ahead of HFCVs. Breakthroughs in battery
technology will accelerate this avalanche boosted by government
incentives. The utter simplicity of an electric motor turning the
wheels has to result in savings in manufacturing costs over the very
complicated machines we use now. I don't know any way you hydrogen
guys are going to be able to compete short of governmental edict.

OK but does it say what voltage they will supply?
If it takes an hour or so to recharge I'd hate to be driving around to see which EV charging stations are available...

Wow! Excellent insight. I've never thought of that problem and I've never heard it mentioned before. Thanks!

Well, it's France, so it's 220v at the very least...

Does anyone know of a list of charging stations in Berlin? Or other cities?
