Audi and Peugeot diesels wheel to wheel halfway through Sebring w/video

As the 2009 12 Hours of Sebring closes in on the halfway point, it's a battle royal between the diesels from Germany and France with the new Acuras still running close as well. Moments ago Alan McNish in the No 2 Audi R15 TDI was running wheel to wheel with Franck Montagny in the No 8 Peugeot 908. The second R15 in the hands of Mike Rockenfeller is just over 20 seconds back followed closely by the first of the new Acura ARX-02a LMP1 cars driven my Scott Dixon. The new Audis are handling the bumpy Florida track well showing better control through the corners than the old R10s did. There are still more 6 hours to go as we write this and it looks like it will be a race to the finish. Speed is showing the race in HD on the tube as well as streaming it online. Audi also has a Facebook page and twitter feed for the R15 with updates, photos and video throughout the day. Don't forget all of these cars are also vying for the ALMS Green Challenge Championship as well. Don't forget to check the video after the jump
