Audi and Peugeot diesels wheel to wheel halfway through Sebring w/video

As the 2009 12 Hours of Sebring closes in on the halfway point, it's a battle royal between the diesels from Germany and France with the new Acuras still running close as well. Moments ago Alan McNish in the No 2 Audi R15 TDI was running wheel to wheel with Franck Montagny in the No 8 Peugeot 908. The second R15 in the hands of Mike Rockenfeller is just over 20 seconds back followed closely by the first of the new Acura ARX-02a LMP1 cars driven my Scott Dixon. The new Audis are handling the bumpy Florida track well showing better control through the corners than the old R10s did. There are still more 6 hours to go as we write this and it looks like it will be a race to the finish. Speed is showing the race in HD on the tube as well as streaming it online. Audi also has a Facebook page and twitter feed for the R15 with updates, photos and video throughout the day. Don't forget all of these cars are also vying for the ALMS Green Challenge Championship as well. Don't forget to check the video after the jump

This is plain old boring and polluting and inneficient race car technology using the out-dated ice engine. This is of no value in 2009. They are almost 100 years retarded folks. Im ashamed of still seeing this. There is many more powerful ways of moving these cars with more power and no fuel cost nor pollution. This is just a business and like all actual car manufacturing compagnies, they are heading the sink because they refused themself to evoluate and made their customers happy, so consumers are leaving them. I saw the nascar race yesterday, the nationwide race at bristol and there were only 10% of peoples in the stands, lol. Why pay to see ice engines polluting the air while these silly car compagnies talk endlessly about new green technologies and are not using them whatsoever ???
Ronn motorsport is better then them . this is a result of cars compagnies working hand in hands with goverments and world banks.
Just do like the remaining of car drivers, keep your used car forever, it's the same thing then the new cars actually sold at dealerships with goverment subsidies.
Go in dealerships and ask for real actual car technology without fuel cost nor pollution and better performance for lower cost and if they have none then the saleman will ask his compagny to build some to keep his jobs. Don't follow the advise of naysayers that say it doesn't exist. It exist. What doesn't exist yet is the will of car compagnies to build the technology because they have poor identity of their own and are lying with no non-sence and always postpone their promises.
