Brilliance bringing new electric car to Shanghai Auto Show

With China assuming the mantle of the world's largest automotive market, China's domestic auto shows gain more importance as its products are increasingly being sold internationally. The Shanghai Auto Show opening on the 22nd of April is no exception and one of the reveals we'll be looking for is a new electric model by Brilliance Auto. Not a lot of details are known about the vehicle except that it is smaller than its popular Junjie (introduced to us as the BS4), but offers more power and is, no surprise, "more fuel efficient." We can only hope they can figure out how to get it to pass a crash test.

The carmaker joins its BYD, Chery and perhaps Roewe compatriots as Chinese companies with electric cars in their future line ups. We expect there will soon be even more.
