Ronn Motors' H2GO systems getting ready for field trials in semi trucks

Representatives from Ronn Motor Company just announced they will be going to China this summer to show off their H2GO hydrogen injection system. The system is used in the Scorpion "green" supercar (above) and will also be used by RBX Management Corp. on two 18-wheel semi trucks in the near future. The two trucks will start using Ronn's GPS tracking system this week as part of a 30-day data collecting period. Once the month is over, the trucks will be fitted with the H2GO system, which is supposed to improve mileage by 20 to 30 percent thanks to on-board generated hydrogen that is injected into the fuel line. Yeah, we know. Skeptisicm is warranted, but RBX will apparently use the 30-day trial period to get baseline data on their trucks that will then be compared to how the trucks operate with the H2GO system in place. I'm sure a breathless release touting success is only about 60 days away.

PRESS RELEASE:
Ronn Motor Company and RBX Management Corp., Independent Fleet Owner & Contractor to FedEx Ground, Begin Baseline Data Collection Utilizing Ronn Motors' New GPS System
May 06, 2009: 09:00 AM ET
Ronn Motor Company (PINKSHEETS: RNNM) announced today that RBX Management Corporation, an Independent Contractor to FedEx Ground based in Fort Worth, Texas, has begun its field trial this week with the installation of Ronn Motors' new GPS tracking system. This contract has been initiated and arranged through Hydro-Gen Transportation Technologies, a supplier of products and services to Independent Contractors of FedEx Ground and other transportation companies.
Rick Black, owner and operator of RBX, commented, "We are excited that our field trial has started. We anticipate that upon successful completion of the field trial, we will be installing the H2GO(TM) system on our entire fleet. We have long been believers that the appropriate use of hydrogen technology as a fuel additive/alternative for our trucking fleet will allow us to reduce operating costs and help provide a positive impact on the environment through improved emissions, both of which impact our bottom line."
Installation of the GPS tracking system on two over-the-road trucks (18-wheelers operating from city to city) has been completed. These trucks are now running the same routes and will continue to do so for a period of up to 30 days. The GPS units allow RBX Management to monitor and record results daily in the comfort of their own offices. Tracked results will include emissions measurement, fuel usage & economy, engine & oil temperatures as well as other pertinent engine management functions. Once these baseline results have been established, the H2GO(TM) real-time hydrogen injection system will be installed on the same two trucks and will then be rerun over the same routes for a like period of time. The results will be recorded, tracked, assessed, analyzed and compared to the original established baseline.
John Marston, President of Hydro-Gen Transportation Technologies, stated, "Once RBX has completed their assessment of the H2GO(TM) system, we feel many of our fleet owners and transportation clients will want to follow in installing the H2GO(TM) system. We are looking forward to establishing a long term relationship with Ronn Motor Company and representing the family of green, eco-friendly products they bring to our industry."
Ronn Maxwell, CEO of Ronn Motor Company, stated, "We are pleased that the field trial with RBX is now underway and look forward to a successful completion. We are happy to be working with both RBX and Hydro-Gen Transportation Technologies on this project."
FedEx Ground does not own nor operate their trucking fleet. The FedEx Ground trucking fleet is a 100% Owner Operator Fleet. The company offers both business-to-business and home delivery services with a fleet of more than 20,000 motorized vehicles, most of which are operated by independent contractors.

Please stop with the posts on H2GO, brown gas, and other such BS. Why even post about this crap? Big deal it's getting install on all of TWO trucks. And it won't even be installed for the first 30days!

Ethics my ass.

"Once the month is over, the trucks will be fitted with the H2GO system, which is supposed to improve mileage by 20 to 30 percent..."
Does that include taking a potato of out the tail pipe?
I think we all know what "brown gas" smells like.

Its good that they are getting a one month reference to compare "before and after" installing their gizmo.
But I wonder what they'll do if, as I suspect, the results are less than spectacular. Will they keep tweaking the system to try and get the "right" results? Pretend it didn't happen? Admit that it isn't quite as great as they'd originally said? Or lie like crazy and hope nobody calls them on it?

I can see only one way this system *might* work. If you put a truly monstrous alternator on these trucks and used it in place of downshifting or the jake brake going down the larger hills; the hydrogen created could then be burned later. Again this *might* be an alternative to a traditional hybrid but I doubt very much thats what they have in mind :D

Good. Now they can put up or shut up. As long as my tax money is not going into it, they can run all the tests and spend all the R&D money they want.

You're right. Only clean money speak, the rest is tax and state regulations for communists.
This system work, only the carburation is difficult because the diesel or gasoline engine was firstly constructed and calibrated for diesel or gasoline.
I said and i repeat to conceive, construct and put on sale near where i live one (1) car powered by this water electrolyzer . It's less complicated and less costly then to mess-up all the laws about everything worldwide. It already kill millions of peoples and destructed half the biosphere and have stop the economic growth . After one day of ownership i will write here in this site my appriciation of that car. This selling to me was written in the bible more then 2009 years ago, so let's move. Stop messing with alternative like plug-in car with wind generated electricity and battery charging station for cars that offer 10% of the performance then a limp neon 2005 5 speeds without air conditionning and power windows.

your so right this is as silly as ethanol powered cars. why does anyone bother...
I say we just stick with gas. I know that's what I plan to do. That is until king Obama makes it illegal or at least strong arms all Auto companies to only make "alternative fuel" autos.

Wow, you people are really ignorant. HHO enhanced combustion is one of the oldest technologies that the Oil companies have suppressed. This is proven technology. They have hydrogen welders, which run off 220 volt, creating over 25liters of gas a minunte, which means an alternator could also power that same welding machine, inturn running it even as high as 50% better mileage or better. All you people are basing your dumb replies of it not working on scam systems like the Water4gas system, which is a joke. No wires in mason jars can make a substatial amount of hydrogen. You need plates and atleast 1.5-2.0 Liters of hho for a 1.8-2.0 L motor. This technology is now coming forward and is real. You guys should stop relying on friends for information and actually do some research. Ronn Motors is a multi million dollar company, who does R&D and makes SuperCars, like the Scorpion. You guys need to go back to school...

Thank you Laszlo. Finally someone who knows what they are talking about. The rest of these people who have made such ignorant comments are apparently clueless or blind to what is happening with this revolutionary technology. Ron Motors' H2GO system and their new bio-degrageable Ronnzoil are the real deal. I've seen them work. They've been proven time and time again. If they didn't work, companies such as Fedex, Enterprise Rent-a-Car, and Penzoil would not have been so quick to jump on board. They are installing H2GO on ALL of their fleets. Look for approzimately 50,000 H2GOs to be installed within the next year. Jiffy-Lube will be the first distributor of Ronnzoil and you will soon see it at your local oil-change stop. This company is on the verge of explosion.

STAC, please provide proof--other than Ronn Motors press releases--that Fedex, Enterprise Rent-a-Car, and Penzoil are on-board with the H2GO systems. Read and research the press releases carefully. The "large" trucking firm they are working with is really a small firm with less than 10 employees. They deliver storage tanks to oil fields. Also check the chronology of promises in the releases. In summer '08 there was a promise of H2GO systems in 1st quarter of '09. We will soon be entering 4th quarter '09, do you own one yet and the Scorpion is a year past due. I would also check the stock prices and associated chat boards of folk moaning over the stock performance. None of this looks good for this technology or Ronn Motors.
