Reno 911 crew needs a lot of help with their electric car

As a fan of the early- to mid-1990's comedy show The State, I've got a bit of a soft spot for Reno 911, which features some of the same comedians. Reno 911 isn't the best show ever, but perfect for late night humor. Recently (or, at least, recently uploaded to YouTube), the police force of semi-incompetents took delivery of a new all-electric squad car. It's a fictional car, made in Detroit and will help the force reduce their carbon footprint. What happens in the 30-second clip would make Dave Letterman proud. It must be the ease of the joke that makes it so common.

Watch the video after the jump.
