Ever since the Citroen C-Cactus concept made its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in the fall of 2007, we've been hearing that the eco-friendly vehicle may make it into production. The latest such rumor comes by way of Channel 4 in the UK, which is reporting that the quirky French automaker is "seriously considering" a production version of the C-Cactus.
Though the concept C-Cactus featured a diesel hybrid powertrain, a conventional gas- or diesel-powered drivetrain is likely if the car ever does hit the market. In addition to the fuel-efficient powertrain, the C-Cactus pioneered a number of innovations to reduce the amount of raw materials required to assemble an automobile as well as the use of recycled materials. According to Channel 4, a three-cylinder engine featuring stop/start technology would emit less than 100 grams of CO2 per mile.

It sure looks a bit different from different cars that I have seen.. but this one is cute, I like the skin color. And it looks like there is a lot of spacing inside.
