LightLane adds instant bike lane for night bicycle rides

There's no question that well-designed and implemented bike lanes improve safety for cyclists by making them less likely to be hit by passing automobiles, and that's especially true after the sun goes down. LightLane thinks it has the solution in the form of
A single charge of the onboard lithium ion battery pack provides three hours of continuous use, and any universal cell phone charger is reportedly capable of recharging the battery pack. We'd still suggest wearing a reflective jacket or vest along with the rest of the applicable safety gear, but anything that improves the safety of cyclists is fine by us. Looks worthless. In the fall and winter I do a ton of night riding, and this won't do anything to be seen/given more space. One or two super bright flashers (planet bike super flash ftw) and a bright HID light in front is what you need.

Moving objects should not have modulating lights.

HID is so 2007. Cree LEDs outshine them now while drawing less power. The PB Superflash is good but not great. Check out Dinottes line of 120 lumen tail lights.

Looks like cyclist inferiority riding to me. Look how far into the door zone the rider goes around the two minute mark. Any one of those doors pops open and the chase video gets more than they bargained for.

Doubt it on the LED's out powering my light. My lights rated at 1800 lumens. It burns down trees. Check out trail tech HID lights. Amazing, and cheap (ish)

I think it should shine "Bike Lane" behind the riders as well. There would be no confusion if you're not a bike rider. Another thought, add solar recharge panel so that it recharges itself during the day.
