Hybridfest, anyone?

The annual Hybridfest Green Drive Expo kicks off today in Madison, Wisconsin as part of the Dane County Fair. While AutoblogGreen has been able to attend in past years, we won't have any of our regular bloggers in covering the show this year. Still, we're willing to bet large piles of cash that at least some regular readers will be there. Thus, we'd like to put out a call for reader submissions, especially pictures, of events at the expo, including today's MPG Challenge. If you're one of the lucky ones who manages to make it to Madison this weekend – and like to share – please let us know. Thanks.

Eeesh... I'd love to go, but this weekend it's the Porsche 250 at Barber Motorsports Park (the most beautiful racing venue ever built). I'll send you fun pic's of that, and we can all frown upon the wasteful use of fuel for the event! It's kindof the yin to the Hybridfest's yang.

Carbon Day, Distributors of Coulomb's Network Charging Stations for EV's will be at this event. Come out and see us! We are taking pictures of us and our product there and will have them available to post shortly.

The University of Wisconsin Hybrid Vehicle Team will also be at
Hybridfest on Saturday and Sunday. We brought along our ChallengeX
Hybrid called the Moovada, a working Corbin Sparrow, and our school's
Formula Hybrid racer. We are starting a new project next month for the
EcoCAR program and will be talking about that this weekend as well.
