Tesla Motors Seattle store sneak preview this weekend

Like mushrooms after a summer rain, Tesla stores are popping up all across the country. OK, maybe not all across but, hey, give them a few years. Anyhow, hot on the heels of last week's Manhattan debut, store number four will open its doors in Seattle this weekend to offer a sneak preview to the public. The renovated warehouse at 425 Westlake Ave will not only serve as a showroom for the premium electric car company but also provide service for the couple dozen Roadsters already populating the Emerald City. Now that Canadians can buy sporty two-seaters, the storefront will also be handy for those would-be buyers in the Vancouver area who will be nicely within driving range of the facility.
There will likely be rides and test drives available at the event but if the lines are too long you can now schedule an appointment on the Tesla Seattle webpage. The new digs will be managed by

It seems that new tesla dealerships are popping up faster than hydrogen gas stations...

Yes, Tesla is indeed creating stores at a pretty fast pace considering they do not franchise their stores at all.
Based on the Tesla Store map (http://www.teslamotors.com/teslastore/) it looks like it would be beneficial to get Tesla Stores opened sometime in the next 5-8 years in Colorado and/or Texas to give their customers (or potential customers, for the Model S and WhiteStar) in the wid-west/middle of the US closer service stations for the yearly vehicle checkups, unless I am missing something (other than the current cost barrier that prevents mass adoption).

Hey pop,
No one can afford this car in the mid west, can they? Beside all us greenies are on the coasts. BTW the current cost barrier that prevents mass adoption is called (mass production) you may have heard of it. Tesla is working on it.

The distribution of Tesla dealerships follows tech money. Many of Tesla early adopters are involved in the tech industry, so Silicon Valley, Seattle, NY and London are no-brainers. Basically, put a dealership nearby anyone who follows Jason Calacanis and you're done.
For the Model S, they will find some kind of larger demographic with overlapping interests for tech and green. I propose the AutoBlogGreen readership.
